MORROCONOIL HYDRATING SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER REVIEW

One of my favourite things to splurge on is the Morroconoil Treatment Oil, I have been using the Morroconoil Treatment Oil for over four years now, and it has become a go to product. I use it as an over night treatment or I apply it onto wet hair before heat styling, the results are amazing and from seeing the difference after just one use I was super impressed. So when I got to try out the shampoo and conditioner from the Morroconoil Hydrating range I was super excited to see the outcome.

I have been using the Hydrating range for quite a few months now and can definitely see a difference, my hair is a lot more manageable, less frizzy and it looks a lot more hydrated whether I leave it to air dry or heat style it.

The Shampoo and Conditioner are both Sulphate, Phosphate and Paraben free making them great for normal or colour treated hair, and both are rich in argan oil, vitamin A/E and red algae.

The shampoo is a more milky like consistency and you only need the size of a R2 coin per wash, thus making the price per bottle all more worth while.  It was only after two consecutive washes with the shampoo that it began to foam and once I rinsed the shampoo out of my hair, my hair felt clean, slightly heavy (I'm assuming this is from the argan oil), as well as hard to the touch. But don't let this put you off, the non-foaming and hardness are normal and are expected from sulphate free shampoos and once you apply the conditioner onto your hair it will feel soft again.

In all honesty it was definitely the conditioner that got me hooked out of the two and I will most likely be purchasing it again. It really is hydrating and moisturising and you only need a tiny amount due to its concentrated and thick consistency. My hair felt nourished, soft and smooth instantly after applying the conditioner.

It's definitely a great range for anyone that is in need of moisture. However, I would highly recommend swopping in-between the ranges, like a lighter shampoo such as the Volume or Restore Shampoo with a heavier conditioner such as the Hydration Conditioner to get the best results and not to weigh down your hair.

The packaging is simple and easy to use and the lock cap make it great for travelling, most salons also offer the mini travel size bottles which are also great if you want to test out which range will suit your hair best before purchasing the bigger bottles.

If you've tried the Morrocanoil Hydrating or Restoring Mask please leave your comments below as I would love to know what your thoughts are before going ahead and purchasing a big tub.
